Phone-Guide was developed due to our own frustration in
finding the best telecom provider. It is nearly impossible to
compare companies based upon their own website, and every
company will claim its services are better than all the
others
In reality, there is no one best company, each may hold
supremacy for some countries but not for others, some may be
cheap, some may be high quality
and
most importantly
things do change
prices, quality, customer service. Our site
will save you time, money and lots of frustration.
Our staff have, between us all, worked with about 25
companies over the past 5 years. We are knowledgeable about
the industry and we have provided you with as much information
as we can whilst keeping our site fast and friendly. The rest
of our service lies with your assistance in the reviews and
votes you contribute.
We began operations in January 2003, collecting and
comparing companies, customer reviews and customer opinions.
We operate with staff worldwide in order for us to have
knowledge about particular geographies, although we are
registered in the United Kingdom.
We rank our companies in many ways. Firstly we make
anonymous contact with each provider and assess their website,
features, prices etc. We usually register as a member to test
the service for a minimum period of 2 months.
After this time we contact the companies to confirm that
prices and details are correct and we begin to request
customer feedback. Customers are free to vote and to write a
short review as to how they find the service. Triple the
weight is added to reviews if a person can enter their
customer number. We do this so that actual customers provide
